Born in Varese on 11/05/1965
Degree in Medicine and Surgery on 13 October 1989 with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude at the University of Pavia.

November 1989 passing the state exam at the University of Pavia with consequent acquisition of a qualification diploma to practice the profession of surgeon.

Specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology obtained on 18 July 1994 at the University of Pavia with a final grade of 50/50 with honors.

From 1 January 1996 assistant at the Obstetrics and Gynecological Clinic of Varese.

From 12 July 1999 in charge of the urogynecology service at the Gynecological Surgery Division of the Bassini Hospital of Cinisello Balsamo, San Gerardo Hospital of Monza

From January 1, 2006 in charge of the urogynecology service at the Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic of Varese.

Since 18 July 2011, Head of the Urogynecology Functional Unit at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan

From 2 January 2014 he obtained the national qualification as Associate Professor in Gynecology and Obstetrics

Since 2014 University Researcher with a fixed-term contract in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the San Raffaele University of Life and Health in Milan

Since 2017 Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the San Raffaele University of Life and Health in Milan

From 13 April 2017 he obtained the qualification as Full Professor in Gynecology and Obstetrics

Author and co-author of several scientific publications at national and international level
In the field of obstetrics and gynecology he has developed the following aspects in particular:
• Diagnosis of genital prolapse
• Diagnosis of urinary incontinence and all female bladder disorders
• Reconstructive surgery for the repair of genital prolapse especially with minimally invasive vaginal techniques
• Minimally invasive surgery of urinary incontinence
• Female genital regenerative medicine with also the use of lasers (MonaLisa Touch) for atrophic, dystrophic and aesthetic-functional states
• Management of female urinary infections
She carries out surgical and functional aesthetic training for Italian and foreign doctors
Currently Head of the Urogynecology Functional Unit at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan
